DIY TUMBLR ROOM DECOR IDEAS FOR TEEN GIRLS!
Hey guys! Today I wanted to do a fun blog post for you guys with another DIY blog post, so I hope you enjoy!
1. Framed hearts
•Heart shaped puncher
•Magazine page with an image
•Frame
•Paint (optional)
•Glue gun
•Toothpick
All you have to do is find or buy a frame, and if it's an old one, you can paint it, which is totally optional, but you can do a fun, bright color and it makes it so much more personal and you can make it match your room. Anyways, cut out pieces of hearts from your magazine page, and images are better because they have more color, and you should probably do 10x10. Once you have those out, start gluing them onto your canvas, ps, you may want to sketch out a square lightly with pencil, but if you want it to have more shape to it, then you have to fold the heart in half and then glue the back of the fold and you can pressure the center with a glue gun, if that makes any sense, but if you want it just on it's back, smooth it out when cool to get rid of any bubbles.
2. Weekly wall decor chalkboard canvases
•Seven canvases
•Chalkboard spray paint
•Newspaper
•Chalk
•Hammer
•Nail
•Chalk
First off, go to a space where you don't mind getting spray paint on, like your backyard or your street, and lay out a lot of newspaper, and take out one canvas at a time and start spraying your canvas until you've done all seven, and once you do that, make sure you let it dry for several hours or over night to make sure that it fully dry, and you want to put it on an empty wall, about an inch apart from each other, and start nailing them to the wall and you can write any weekly plans, or you can buy sticker letters and write down this week and the days just like shown on the picture.
3. Floral mirror
•Old mirror
•Fake flowers
•Hot glue gun
This DIY is pretty self explanatory, but you just have to find an old mirror and just glue on some flowers to cover the brim of the mirror, and make sure no grey is showing, even if you have to overlap.
4. Eyelash artwork
•Fake eyelashes
•Fine point marker
•Black frame
•Glue gun
Okay, the name is super creepy, but if you love beauty or you are a beauty guru on YouTube, this is great to go over your vanity or where you put your makeup. All you need to do is glue on as many eyelashes as possible onto the frame, and leave a little on the top, and in the middle of the lashes, you can write down names like Sally and Anne in any font you want and you can write a cute quote about beauty or something on the top and there you go!
5. Clothespins mirror
•Pack of clothespins
•Spray paint of your choice
•Old mirror
•Paint in the same color of the spray paint
•Glue gun
I love this DIY, so cute! All you have to do is first, paint the outside of the mirror, the brim, and then let that dry for a couple of hours or overnight, and once that's drying, lay out a newspaper or find a surface and spray paint all of the clothespins, and once everything is dry, use your glue gun and glue the clothespins onto the mirror.
Hope you guys enjoyed this blog post! If you want to see more of these tumblr inspired DIY's, then share this with your friends! See you guys soon!
