SWEET TREATS!
It's gone to the point where I basically start a new series every single week... So, you guys get the hint, but if you're not the smartest person, like myself, I'm basically starting a food series because I'm always giving you guys recipes and I decided, why not just start a series. I am just going to take some recipes from my food board on my Pinterest account (I will link both at the end of this post) so let's get baking and, most importantly, eating!
1) STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKES CUPCAKES
•Cupcake mix of choice
•Cupcake tin
•Cupcake liner
•Strawberries
All you have to do is basically put the liners into the tin and then follow the recipe on the back of your box, or you can use a homemade cupcake recipe, and pour the liquid about 3/4 of the way into the liners, and before putting that into the oven, first, cut the ends of your strawberry, and stick that inside your mixture, and put that into the oven. Basically, follow the recipe on the back of your box and you can add any decorations. You can also cut up some strawberries and mix that with some whip cream, and then put that in a baggie and garnish it with a strawberry, and you are done!
2) VEGGIE PASTA
•Pasta
•Chicken
•Spinach
•Tomatoes
•Cheese
•Butter
This is so self explanatory, but basically, put your pasta in a bowl, and add in your chicken (cut it first) and put in some spinach, some chopped up tomatoes, and cheese, and that is it, and mix some butter inside for a more soft, buttery taste, and it is just as good, but way more healthy and it is just as easy as making regular pasta.
3) BANANA SPLIT BITES
•Popsicle sticks
•Melted dark chocolate
•Bananas
•Strawberries
•Pineapple
All you have to do for this is cut up your fruits and stick them into the popsicle stick, and then drizzle your dark chocolate onto your fruit, and then you can sprinkle some nuts, if you aren't allergic of course, and then put those on a plate, and let them sit into the freezer, and you have this healthy treat!
4) BLUEBERRY PANCAKE BITES
•Cake pop maker (This will literally save your life for this recipe and you can make cake pops!)
•Pancake mix
•Blueberries
For this recipe, it's a lot more easier than it looks. Basically, make your batter for your pancake mix (Whatever it says on the back) and then pour that into the inside of your cake pop maker, and then add in some chopped blueberries, and cook that for how many minutes the box says, or if your cake pop maker does not have that type of set up, just time it.
(Above is the cheapest cake pop maker I've ever seen!)
5) FAST AND YUMMY CAPRESE SANDWICHES!
•Bread of choice
•Butter
•Lettuce, spinach, or arugula
•Mozzarella cheese
•Tomatoes
•Any other things you like in your sandwich
•Prosciutto
Set up your bread and spread on some butter, and add all your ingredients, like your greens, and some mozzarella cheese, and cut up that, as well as your tomatoes, and add those on top, and put on some prosciutto, which is optional but I love it in my sandwiches.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I know these aren't exactly desserts, but I love the name anyway, so yeah... Anyway, if you want to share your recreations with me, use the #lookneondots on Instagram. Kisses to my neonators!
XOXO,
Neon Dots
