WEDDING IDEAS: ENGAGEMENT PARTY DIY'S!
Hey guys! I'm so sorry for being gone for a couple of days... I've been somewhat busy, and we all have to focus on schoolwork, so I just wanted to say I am so sorry for that, and I haven't done a wedding related post in a while, so let's just get started so you ladies/men out there can have the best engagement party!
1) DIY BALLOON CHANDELIER
•Printed photos
•Tape
•Balloon (Preferably the colors of your wedding! This is also a great way to announce the theme!)
•String
All you have to do is, once you blow up your balloons, tie the string to the bottom, and at the bottom of the string, tape your picture, which you can print out at CVS or Target, or anywhere else really if you don't have a printer already.
2) DELICIOUS SNACKS!!!
MARSHMALLOWS SPRINKLES:
•Marshmallows
•Frosting
•Sprinkles
•Festive cake pop sticks
Put your marshmallow on a stick and dip it halfway into your frosting, and then dip that into sprinkles.
PRETZELS:
•Pretzel sticks
•Chocolate
•White chocolate
•Scissors
•Zip lock bags
Pour your milk or dark chocolate into a zip lock bag after you warmed it up in the microwave (lay out your pretzels first on a baking pan and parchment paper) and cut a big, wide tip on the corner of your bag, and pour the chocolate 3/4 way on the stick, and then once you're done with that, melt your white chocolate, pour it in your bag, and do a smaller tip, and make zig zag lines.
3) FESTIVE CUPS
•Glitter (it can match your theme color)
•Painters tape
•Cup
•Mod Podge (of course I would use mod podge)
•Sponge brush
As you see in the picture, place your tape where the picture shows, and in the insides, not the top, paint on some Mod Podge and pour on your glitter, and let that dry for a couple of hours or overnight. Once it's completely dry, do another coat of mod podge on top so that the glitter doesn't fall, wait for that to dry, and you're done.
4) ICE CREAM BAR
•Clear bowls (It makes the toppings pop more)
•Toppings of choice
•Cones
•Cake display
•Chalkboard
•Chalk
With your chalkboard, just write down anything you want like "Ice cream bar" or whatever you want, and put in the toppings inside your bowl with a spoon and display your cones on top of one another on a cake display for a cute look, and you're done! Oh, and also you can put in your ice cream in a mini container with ice inside for your guests.
5) PEBBLE MARRIAGE ADVICE
•Pebbles
•Sharpie
•Jar
You can lay out your stones on a table and your guests can write marriage advice at your party, or even at the wedding!
I hope you guys enjoyed this and found it helpful in any way, and if you recreate any of these ideas, use the #lookneondots on Instagram so that I can give you a shoutout. Kisses to my neonators, and happy engagement party!
XOXO,
