3 DIY LAST MINUTE HALLOWEEN COSTUMES + 2 DIY SNAPCHAT FILTER COSTUMES I NEON DOTS
Hey neonators, it's neon dots here. Today I am going to show you guys three last minute DIY's that you can recreate before halloween, as well as some snapchat filter costumes. If you are a lazy person like myself, you wait until the last minute to search for costumes, and all of them are gone. I am here to solve your problems and show you some ideas, so let's get started!
1) NETFLIX AND CHILL
•Oversized red and blue sweaters
•Transfer paper
•Snowflake images
•Snowflake stick-on stickers
Start off with the blue sweater. Type on a computer document Chill and print it out on some transfer paper. Make sure that you like the font and chose the right size. I recommend practicing on regular paper just to make sure. Afterward, follow the instructions on your transfer paper and iron it onto your sweater. Add on your stickers and you are done. Follow the same steps with your red sweater and you have an adorable costume.
2) CAT IN THE HAT
•Black shirt
•White felt
•Red bow
•Hot glue gun
•Black tutu
•Long white hat
•Red duct tape
•Black leggings
With your white felt, cut out a oval shape, and glue it on. Glue on your red bow on top, put on your tutu and leggings. Onto the hat; if you are running out of time, take your red duct tape and wrap it around the hat, If you do have time, you can paint it on and achieve straight lines using painters tape.
3) MINNIE MOUSE
•Paper
•Glue gun
•Red tutu
•Black shirt
•Minnie mouse ears
Take your paper and cut out some round circles, and glue them onto your tutu. This is seriously so easy and not time consuming at all.
4) BUTTERFLY SNAPCHAT FILTER
•Hair clips
•Fake butterflies
•Glue
•Paint brush
•Gold glitter
•Glue gun
Paint a thin layer of glue over your butterfly and sprinkle gold glitter over it. Make sure you do this outside or on top of some newspaper so that you don't make a mess, and let it sit to dry. Glue them onto the hair clips with a glue gun to make sure it's more secure.
5) DOG SNAPCHAT FILTER
•Brown felt
•Light pink felt
•Black felt
•Sharpie
•Scissors
•Headband
•Tape
•Glue gun
Cut half an oval shape with your brown felt and a smaller version with your pink felt as well. Glue on the pink felt on top of the brown one. With the tip, glue onto the bottom. On the flat side of the ears, glue it onto your headband. Put that off to the side. Cut a dog nose-like shape from your brown felt. With your sharpie, draw a round circle and some black spots. You can tape this on the back to your nose.
