VALENTINES DAY PARTY : DIY'S, GIFT IDEAS, AND TREATS I NEON DOTS
Hey neonators, it's neon dots here! I personally love hosting parties, and if any of you guys are single and want to hang out with friends, then make sure to stick around for this post and check out how you can throw your own Valentines day parties, and how to make some DIY decor and fun treats, so let's get started!
1) HEART CANDY MASON JARS
I thought this was the perfect party gift to give out to your friends, and it is extremely easy to recreate!
•Mason jar
•Heart sticker
•Gold spray paint
•Valentines Day themed candy of your choice
•Festive ribbon
Stick your heart sticker on the outside of your mason jar, and spray paint it with your gold spray paint. Fill it up with candy, screw on the lid, and wrap some festive ribbon around the lid.
2) RING TOSS
•3 Valentines Day themed spray paint
•Fuzzy wires
•Pipe cleaners
•6 tall jars
Take one jar, and spray paint it with one color on the outside and inside. Take two, and spray paint them with another color, and take the last three, and spray paint it with a separate color as well, and let those dry. While it is drying, you can take take your pipe cleaners, and shape them into hearts. After everything dries, you can set it up, and you are done! Such a cute and fun game to create.
3) VALENTINES DAY STRAWS
•Mason jars
•Ribbon
•Red and white paper
•Scissors
•Festive straws
•Hole puncher
•Festive ribbon
Cut out some hearts with your red and white paper (fold the paper in half and at the spine, draw half of a heart, and cut that out). Open the shape up, and fold it once again, making two slits (cutting it with your scissors) in the center. Put each straw inside the slits and place them in the mason jar. You can make another heart and take a hole puncher, and you can label it 'straws', and slip it into the ribbon, which you can wrap around your mason jar.
4) VALENTINES DAY THEMED POPCORN
•Brown paper bags
•Hole puncher
•Red paper heart
•White sharpie
•Pre-made popcorn
•Festive sprinkles
•Candy hearts
•Twine
In a large bowl, mix together your popcorn, and add some festive sprinkles and candy hearts, which you can buy at any store around Valentines Day, and mix those all together, and place them in a brown paper bag. Punch a hole in your heart, and you can write a label with your guests names, and punch another hole in the corner of your bag, and pull some string together so that you have a little tag.
5) VALENTINES DAY OREO POPS
•Cake pop sticks
•Oreos
•Red, white and pink melted chocolate (you can melt some white chocolate in your microwave with a microwavable safe bowl, or in a pot and die the chocolate with food coloring)
•Sprinkles and decorations
Take your cake pop stick, and push it in halfway into the oreo. Dip them into the melted chocolate, and add some sprinkles. Place these on a baking pan with some baking sheet, and pop this in the fridge or freezer, until they are frozen.
