DIY SPA THEMED CHRISTMAS PRESENTS BLOGMAS DAY #15 I NEON DOTS
Hey neonators, it's neon dots here, and welcome to Blogmas Day #15! I personally feel that when I receive a present that someone personally made for me, it makes it that much more special and it puts a smile to my face, so if you want to make some presents this year for your friends, then keep on reading and let's get started!
1) BATH BOMBS
•1 cup baking soda
•1/2 cup citric acid
•1/2 cup Epsom salt
•1 teaspoon walt
•2 teaspoon essential water
•3 teaspoon essential oils
•3 teaspoon olive oil
•Food coloring
•Bath bomb mold
Place all of your dry ingredients in a bowl and set that aside. Then, place your wet ingredients in a separate bowl, and mix as well. Slowly mix the wet and dry ingredients together. After everything is well mixed, place the mixture in the bath bomb mold. Make sure to over pack in the mold so that the access can fall out. Make sure it's secured, and pop that in the fridge for several hours until it hardens.
2) MISTLE TOES
•Fuzzy slippers
•Festive ribbon
•Nail polish
•Face masks
•Gift card
•EOS lip balm
•Chocolate
Put your things inside the slippers and tie them together. Simple as that! I love this gift because you can also personalize it, and stuff it with things your friends like. This is totally optional, but you could print out a tag and write, 'For your Mistle-toes'.
3) PEPPERMINT CANDY SCRUB
•2 cups granulated white sugar
•1/4 cup Almond oil
•Peppermint essential oil
•Food coloring
•Milk bottles
Mix your sugar and almond oil. Add the oil slowly so that you have a nice, soft mixture. Afterward, add a few drops of peppermint oil. Divide the mixture evenly into two bowls. With one of them, add some red food coloring and mix slowly until you get a pink color. Pour in some of the pink mixture into your milk bottle, and pat that down with a spoon. Then, add your white and pat that down as well. Keep on repeating that process. Close the lid and add a fun sticker.
4) HONEY LAVENDER SOAP
•Honey soap base
•Lavender essential oil
•Silicone soap mold
•4 measuring cups
•Dried lavender buds
•Gold soap coloring
Take your soap base, and cut it in half. Cut one of the halves into small pieces and place them inside your measuring cup. I recommend you use a glass measuring cup, or one that is microwavable and rather large. Microwave it for 20-30 seconds, stir, and keep on repeating that process until fully melted. After, add the gold soap coloring (around 1/3) and the lavender essential oil, about 10-15 drops. Pour that into the silicone mold and pop that in the fridge or freezer. You can repeat that process until you have the amount of soap you wanted.
5) PEPPERMINT MASON JAR CANDLE
•All natural soy candle wax
•Peppermint oil
•Mason jar
•Natural candle wick
•Glue gun
Glue your candle wick at the bottom of your mason jar and wait until it is fully secure. Melt your candle wax either in the microwave in 30 second increments, or in a pan over the stove on low-simmer. Once the wax is melted, stir in the peppermint oil (10-15 drops) and combine. Take two pencils and put them on each side of the wick to keep it in place. Pour in the mixture and pop that in the fridge until it hardens. Make sure to keep on the pencils. After it is done, cut the wick and add some decorative ribbon.
I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I wanted to stick to a theme because everyone wants to feel relaxed with some spa themed gifts this holiday season. If you decide to recreate these for any of your friends or family, make sure to use the #lookneondots. Kisses to my neonators!
XOXO,
