ULTIMATE SUMMER GUIDE - FASHION TRENDS + ITEMS I NEON DOTS
Hey neonators, it's neon dots here. It's the last post of my Ultimate Summer Guide series! If you have not checked out part one and two, where I talk about my favorite hair products and looks, as well as my skin care and makeup items that I have been using throughout summer, I will have those linked at the end of this post. Today, I will be talking about fashion trends and items I have been wearing religiously this summer.

1) GINGHAM
I love how minimalistic this pattern is. I see it everywhere these days; whether it's on dresses, shirts, or skirts. I think it is such a chic trend, and so adorable. I love gingham dresses in particular, and would pair an oversized denim jacket and Keds with them. I'll link down below a cute gingham dress that I think you guys would love. 2) CHIFFON TRIMMED TEE
Anthropologie is one of my favorite stores, so I had to pick up this top when they had a sale, and I am in love with it! The fabric is so comfortable, and I love how there are different textures to it, and it's still simple. I have been pairing this with some dark skinny jeans, and I love the combo!

3) SILK SCARF AROUND NECK
I have seen this trend everywhere lately, and I love it! Essentially, you take a silk scarf or handkerchief and you fold it so that it becomes longer, wrapping it around your neck. You can do it anyway you'd like, and I love how the pattern adds a unique element to a simple outfit. I would pair a small printed scarf with a black, straight lined bodysuit, black frayed jeans, and some white sneakers. Adding a minimalistic element, and pairing it with color and print can make your outfit chic and perfect to wear for a street style look.
4) ASTR THE LABEL - RUFFLE SLEEVE SATIN DRESS
I love with this gorgeous satin dress that I picked up during the Nordstrom anniversary sale this month. The color is so unique and the sash hugs to the waist, making it extremely flattering. I would pair this with a block heel, and wear it out to a more formal event.

5) BODYSUITS + WIDE LEG PANTS
I love bodysuits so much because they are so simple to style around. I have been pairing them with wide leg pants and some adorable Banana Republic slides that I picked up. If you want to buy the exact outfit that I love wearing around, whenever I am running errands, going shopping, or heading to the farmers market during the weekend, then I will have every exact item linked down below for you guys. The best part about this combo is they are both equally as comfortable, and it gives you an effortless, simple look.

They didn't have the color that I own on the Banana Republic website, but this is the same design, so I linked for you guys the same slides but in a different color. 6) GUCCI BELT
This trend has been all over Pinterest and Instagram lately! I see bloggers and Instagram influencers wearing this belt, and it has grown into this huge trend, and honestly, I am not mad about it! I am typically not one to love belts, but I love how chic this is. I did a whole entire post about this too, and how you can style it, so if you need help on that, that will be towards the end.

7) PAJAMA BLOUSE
I am all for staying comfortable, so when everyone started wearing pajama blouses, I obsessed over it! You can pair them with jeans or trousers, and a block heel for more comfort.

8) EILEEN FISHER HEELS
These heels are so comfortable and I love the design. They are great to wear for everyday purposes, or if you have a formal event. I got a burnt orange color, which I believe is out of stock. I purchased it at Nordstrom, and it is the perfect pop of color.

9) OFF THE SHOULDER TOP
One of the biggest trends that is still extremely popular, is anything off the shoulder. I don't own many off the shoulder items, but I do find this trend extremely adorable. If you do plan on getting anything off the shoulder, I recommend you try it first because, depending on how the product is made, the shoulders can slide up easily, and it won't be as comfortable.

10) CLEAR GLASSES
This is another really popular trend, that is so adorable and does not cost a lot of money to recreate. Stores like Forever 21 are selling really cute clear glasses, and for great prices. I personally love this look with a really adorable, bronzy makeup look and a minimalistic outfit.
