RELATIONSHIP ADVICE: HOW TO GET OVER A GUY I NEON DOTS
Okay, no intro, we just need to get into this now. You know when one of your crushes either moves away, or he hangs out with people you hate, but you still think he's adorable, or if he's dating somebody else, you want to get over him, obviously, but it's basically impossible! You know what I'm talking about. It's one of the many hardest struggles in the world for girls, so I wanted to show you guys how to get over a guy!
1) INVITE A FRIEND OVER, GET ICE CREAM, AND TALK
Get your best friend who knows you better than anyone in the world, get some ice cream, and just talk and cry your eyes out. This person cannot judge you because you guys have seen each other at the best and worst moments, and they understand what you're going through because they know you well. Once you talk about your feelings with somebody else, and you actually say it out loud, it feels so great.
2) WRITE IN A DIARY/JOURNAL
The best way to get over somebody is to also write about it. Write your heart out. It honestly feels so great because, if you don't have anybody to talk to, it's almost the same feeling.
3) CHANGE
Although change may seem painful at first, you will honestly thank yourself later. You want to get rid of any memory that makes you remember of that person, like a stuffed animal or a t-shirt, and donate it. That way, you feel great because you are giving it to somebody who could really use it, you don't have to face that person, and it's out of the way. Then, try to re-do your room. It could be by remaking your whole entire room to a new theme, to just switching out your bedding. That way, if you change the you that was around that person that hurt you, you feel like that person can't hurt the new you, and you start all over again.
4) KEEP ON SMILING
The more you smile, the more you actually believe that you are happy, and you are over that person, and your body makes you feel like you are happier without him in your life, and once you start to believe something, it becomes a reality.
5) TELL YOURSELF THE POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT YOU
Go walk over to your mirror, and tell yourself all of the great things about you, like, you have pretty eyes, or you have a gorgeous smile, and that way, once you look at yourself, you don't see why that person left you or how they broke you, you see what they are missing out on, and I feel like once you finally realize that you don't need them or their negativity in your life, you can really move on easily.
