HOW TO STYLE : DENIM MINI SKIRTS I NEON DOTS
Hey neonators, it's neon dots here. I am a huge fan of mini skirts, and I think they are the perfect transition piece from summer to fall. Today, I wanted to share with you guys some ideas and inspiration on how to style denim mini skirts. I will also have my How to Style posts down below, if you want to see more posts like this.

1) STRAIGHT NECK BODYSUIT
I love Bella Hadid's style, so I had to include this street look that she wore, which I love! I think that solid colored bodysuits are a great staple to have in your wardrobe because you can pair them with any type of bottoms. You can pick up a bodysuit at any clothing store these days, and they can be extremely cheap if you buy it from stores like Forever 21, H&M, Romwe, Shein, etc. A light washed denim mini skirt would be perfect to pair with a black bodysuit. Instead of the black boots that Bella paired with this outfit, I would chose a cute pair of simple white sneakers. I have been loving more minimalistic outfits lately, which is why I would keep it more casual and comfortable.

2) GRAPHIC TEE
Graphic tees are another great essential piece to have in your wardrobe. You can cuff the sleeves and tuck them into frayed jeans, old vintage Levi shorts, or denim skirts. Again, I would pair this outfit with simple white sneakers and a mini black backpack. You can wear this outfit when you are running errands or hanging out with friends.

3) OFF THE SHOULDER COLLARED TOP
I love this look, which a lot of bloggers have been wearing lately. Essentially, it is an oversized collared top that is worn off the shoulder, which has been a huge trend for the past year. I love it with a denim mini skirt, especially if it's slightly ripped, so you have some elements of both prints and textures, and it's still minimalistic at the same time. Add a simple black belt, some booties that are perfect for fall, and a small clutch for on the go purposes.

4) COLOR BLOCKED MINI SKIRT + BELL SLEEVE TOP
One of my favorite denim looks is anything color blocked; whether it's jeans, skirts, or shorts. I love how it incorporates different shades and elements into one item. This outfit is so adorable because the long bell sleeve striped top is perfect for fall, and gives a fun, autumn vibe to the outfit. Pair it with some pink slides and a brown bag, and you are ready to go. This is perfect for a chic street wear look.

5) RIBBED OFF THE SHOULDER TOP
You can also try out a colored denim mini skirt for a different look, which is also really cute. I love this dusty rose shade, and the tie-up feature gives a really cute, unique feature to the skirt. I would pair it with a simple off the shoulder white or black ribbed top because you already have color in the outfit. Ribbed fabrics are so much more comfortable, and I have been seeing ribbed off the shoulder tops everywhere lately as well.
