TRAVELING MORE THIS YEAR?

Hi guys. I kind of wanted to talk about something other than beauty for today, so I decided to tell you guys some exciting news... Well, exciting news for me. I'M TRAVELING MORE THIS YEAR! If you don't know this already, my family and I barely go traveling, for example, if someone asks me if I'm traveling this summer or what not, I burst out laughing. We usually take a family trip once a year, during the summer time, and being a typical teenager that I am, it get's super annoying. (You other young viewers should relate to this... I know you do!)

Anyways, my family and I have been listing multiple places we want to travel too, and we have so many ideas, and my mom goes traveling a lot for business, so in some cases, my family may tag along, and I'm super excited because I seriously love traveling, love going on planes, and most of my trips, I am going to go to with my best friend, Chloe. She's seriously the most hilarious, kindest person I know, and we both love…

DASHIN FASHION: JANUARY OUTFIT IDEAS

I don't know about you guys, but it's getting very hot in California, and then it starts to rain, and it's the strangest thing, so I usually settle for something cute... Obviously... But I can't just take the blame because 99.9% of the time, my outfits are inspired from something I find on Pinterest (my account and board will be linked below at the end of this post as always), so let me show you some ideas. PS. I want to do fashion posts monthly because I know how much you guys love these types of posts, so yeah!

1)

•Maroon off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline cropped shirt
•Jeans
•Tan boots

2)

•White crop top
•Loose granite inspired shorts (I honestly can't tell if it's a skirt or shorts, but I'll say shorts, and let's just say it looks like granite)
•Triangular necklace
•Clutch

3)

•Long white cardigan
•White sleeveless blouse
•Printed shorts
•Necklace

4)

•Comfy black dress (you can add a brown belt if your black dress is only tight towards the top)

BEST INSTAGRAM LOCATIONS IN: SAN FRANCISCO

Hi guys. I wanted to share with you guys some really cute and tumblr locations in San Francisco that you have to go to if you are ever traveling in the bay area. Living in San Francisco myself, I think I would know the best spots, and I wanted to share them with you guys, because if you are like me, you are obsessed with taking tumblr Instagram pictures, so let's get started.

1) PIER. San Francisco has an awesome pier that is separated by numbers, and every single place has something different, and I think it is really cute and fun to visit.

2) GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE. Okay, this is kind of an obvious one because San Francisco is only famous for the golden gate bridge. You can either drive on it and just enjoy it because there's a lot of traffic, so it's most likely you will be able to take a picture because you'll literally just be waiting there for like five minutes, or you can walk across the bridge and get a great work out and visit the view.

3) TIBURON. Tiburon is a to…

SCHOOL EMERGENCY KIT!

Okay, this isn't actually an emergency kit with band-aids and cream and... Wow, this shows how uneducated I am... Haha, anyway, this is basically a beauty emergency kit for school. I was thinking of doing one for home purposes so you can take it in your car and what not, but to be honest, this emergency kit can be used for personal use also, so let's get started! (PS. You can find basically all of these at Target or the dollar store, so these are really cheap if you think about it.)

1) First, you'll need a big bag to put all of your things into. You can pick any bag, but you want to get the biggest one you can find so that you can fit everything inside and you can add even more if you want. A life hack for you is to use a really cute pencil case because pencil cases can hold a lot of stuff, which proves that it will work well.

2) Okay, so you want to buy a carabiner hook, which you can find basically anywhere, and take a pack of hair ties, and put the hair ties into the ho…

HOW TO BE TUMBLR/TAKE TUMBLR PICTURES FOR INSTAGRAM

If you guys don't know what Tumblr is, where have you been? Just kidding, I know a lot of people don't have an account, or don't even know what it is, but basically, it's a site that gives you a lot of cute, colorful, girly inspiration which you can use for Instagram pictures, drawings, or whatever you're into, but I usually pull a lot of images off of Tumblr and I use them for my Instagram, so I will link the site at the end of this post, but let's just get started!

1) Search up places where you and your friends can take a short road trip to, for example, if you live in San Francisco, you could go to the Pier or a street market during the weekend.

2) If you go to a cute caffé nearby, or you drink an artistic latte, always take a picture before drinking it, and the same goes with food. If it's somewhat healthy, or you personally think it looks good, you want to share it with the world.

3) USE THE FILTER CHROME! This unfortunately only applies to people who …

DIY JANUARY CRAFTS PART 2 ROOM DECOR

Hi guys. So last time, I did some really random DIY's, so this one is just room decor DIY's. If you did not read my last post, I will link it down below, but basically, I am doing monthly DIY's, and part one will be random, fun DIY's, and part two will be a certain type of DIY, so let's get started! PS. Who else is loving the short intro's?

1) DIY PAINTED BOTTLES

•Glass bottles
•Painters tape
•Pastel paint (pink, blue, yellow/green, and gold)

Okay, so put some painters tape in a stripped pattern towards the bottom of your glass bottle and fill in the blank lines with tape (You want to have one tape piece on the top, middle, and bottom, and fill in the blank) and not on the top, and then let that dry for a couple of hours or overnight, and put in some water and flowers.

2) TRIANGLE COLORFUL ART PIECE

•Canvas
•Mod Podge
•Sponge brush
•Fabric, painted triangles, or printed paper (I'll be showing you guys how to use the printed paper, but you can basically foll…

DIY JANUARY CRAFTS! PART 1

This year, I am going to try and do two DIY's per month, because I know how much you love them guys, so this is part one for January. Okay, let's just get started. (PS. Like, super short intro, and it's kind of nice!)

1) DIY GLITTER BOWL

•Mod Podge
•Glitter
•Sponge brush
•Balloon

Coat a paint of mod podge onto your balloon (if you want a straight line for your bowl, then just use painters tape) and before the glue dries, pour on your glitter, and you want to make sure that you have newspaper under before you do anything, and then let that dry for a couple of hours or overnight. Once it's dry, paint another coat of mod podge on top of the glitter, let that dry, and pop the balloon once you're done, and you guessed it, put mod podge inside, dry, and then you're done!

2) DIY CRAYON COLOR BLOCK CANDLES

•Dixie cup
•Wax
•Crayons
•Wicks
•Votives
•Popsicle sticks (for stirring)

Pour a small amount of wax into a dixie cup and heat that up in a microwave for one minute. …

TYPES OF TEACHERS

Remember a while ago, when I did types of parents, siblings, and friends? (I will link those all down below as you guys know) Well, I just had to do a types of teachers version because these are actually very popular, and I'm assuming you guys like these, so here we go.

1) The fun teacher. Now, you may be lucky enough to have this teacher. They are probably super young, maybe twenties or thirties, and they get you. They like the same songs as you, know what's in fashion, and basically, they're your friend, and I know it sounds weird, but yes, there is such a teacher. Now, again, these types of teachers are very hard to find, but if you're lucky enough, you might have one. They usually have your phones out, chew gum, text while waiting for a test, and play pop music all the time.

2) The lazy teacher. This is somewhat like the fun teacher. They just don't care. Some people can benefit from this teacher, because they will let any late assignments slide, but others how…

TIE THE KNOT: DIY GUEST CHALKBOARD BACK DROP

Hi guys! I wanted to do another wedding post because these are actually quite popular, and hey, you don't have to be married, or even engaged to enjoy this post. This is a super cute and affordable DIY that will turn out super cute in the end. If you want a back drop for your guests to pose in front of, but you want to make it super customizable, why not make it into a chalkboard? Your guests can write whatever message they want to you on it, and after each and every picture the guests take, the messages will only expand, and you can keep it afterward, so let's hurry up and get too it! PS. The picture is showing you a different version on how to make this, so my version is a lot cheaper, and will still have the same results.

•Big trifold (You can find these at CVS, Walgreens, etc.)
•Chalkboard spray paint

All you have to do is take your trifold and spray paint it. Depending on how thick your trifold is, you may want to do several layers to make sure.

I know this is a simple DI…

BEAUTY, FASHION, HAIR, AND OTHER LIFE HACKS YOU MUST KNOW!

I wanted to do something different and share with you guys some beauty life hacks you must know!! Let's get started!

1) Okay, so all you have to do is grab a red lipstick and your regular concealer. Before applying your concealer, put on some red lipsticks around your eyes, or just wear you would put your concealer, blend it with your finger, and then put on your concealer, blend well, and bam, life changing!
2) Grab your perfume and some vaseline, and put on a small amount of the vaseline, and then sprits on your perfume, and blend it or whatever you have to do, and then it will seriously last for so long, it's really crazy.
3) When you're applying bronzer, tilt your face so that it's either facing the mirror so that you can see the left or right side of your face, and put on your bronzer in the shape of a 3, meaning the end of your forehead, to your cheek, to your chin.
4) Don't apply your concealer in the shape of a "u", apply it in the shape of a &quo…

LEARN HOW TO: ORGANIZE YOUR DESK!

I don't know about you guys, but I never have the time to organize my desk, and that is a really big problem, because all of my essays and homework is everywhere, and to be honest, I also have a lot of crap everywhere, so there's no room to put my textbooks and binders! If you are in middle school, high school, or in college, you would know that if you have a messy, cluttered desk, it can be a problem, so I thought I would help you guys out! All you really have to do is find a weekend to go buy some organizing stuff, or make some of your own, so let's hurry up and get started!

1) BAR CART

You guys are probably thinking, has she gone crazy? But I swear, this is so cute, and it will seriously save you so much space, so all of your things is right next to you in one place, but you have all this space to do your homework and things like that, and it is so helpful. You can also spray paint your bar cart if you don't like the color, so it's super customizable.

2) DIY HOM…

PICNIC: DIY SNACKS

Hi guys. So, I did one of these posts a while ago (I will link that at the end of this post so that you guys can check that one for more ideas), and it was so popular, and I've been getting a lot more newer viewers lately, I wanted to do a new one, so let's get started!

1) MARSHMALLOW SPRINKLE SNACKS

•Marshmallows
•White chocolate
•Cake pop sticks
•Sprinkles

Melt your white chocolate in your microwave, and stick your stick halfway into the marshmallow, and dip it inside, and you can lay out the sprinkles on a small pan and roll it in, or you can sprinkle it on over a plate, and put it on a separate plate, and set it in the fridge to cool for however long you want to, depending on how cool you want it to be.

2) CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER BANANA POPS

•Banana slices
•Peanut butter
•Bag with any tip
•Melted chocolate
•Nuts of your choice
•Knife

Take your banana slice and cut out a hole in your banana with your knife, or any other tool to get out the center, and dip half of your banan…

LET'S TALK #1: ACCEPT WHO YOU ARE

Hi guys. I just wanted to talk with you guys for once. I feel like I always write/talk about DIY's, beauty, things like that, but the good thing about having a secret identity, well, at least another name, is that I can share whatever's on my mind, and I'm not saying it, Neon Dots is. I wanted to talk about acceptance.

Sometimes, you get under so much stress, you start to blame yourself for random things, like getting bad grades or being dumb, which you're not, everybody's just smart in their own way. Then, you look at yourself in the mirror and start to see almost every single flaw on your body. You know what's going on right now? You're negativity is taking over your body without you realizing it, and if you don't do something about it soon, suicidal thoughts will go around your head. One thought can risk your life.

Remember guys, nobody is perfect, and I cannot stress that enough. There is a time in your life when you ddi, or you will see a girl, and…

MY GOALS FOR 2016!

Hi guys! AHH, it's my first post of 2016! I am so excited for this year, and I feel like it will be a good one... I just have a feeling... Okay, anyway, 2015 was great. I've posted more than I ever have in one year in 2016, and I started about a million new series. You guys have been so supportive of me throughout the years, and I am seriously so grateful. I would like to try and post almost every single day possible. I've been posting a lot lately, that I may as well try. Also, I would like to do outfits of the days for you guys by taking pictures. I could do that on my Instagram but I just don't have many followers yet. And, instead of showing you guys DIY's, maybe I could film a tutorial. I also really want to post more posts about hair and makeup.

Let's see if we can reach, not only my goals, but our goals this year. Share your 2016 goals with me using the #lookneondots on Instagram, and make sure to tag me! Kisses to my neonators!

XOXO,

Neon Dots
