TOP 10 BEST AND WORST DRESSED: AMA'S 2019 EDITION
Hey guys, what's up? It's Olivia, and welcome back to my blog! I know I'm a bit late to this but the American Music Awards were recently and there were so many fire fits and so many fashion fails, that I thought it would be a fun idea to share my input. Please don't take this seriously! These are just my opinions; I respect and love all of these artists equally. So without further ado, let's dive right into it!
1) LIZZO
Lizzo is one of the hottest artists these days, and for good reason! She is super talented and gorgeous, so I think I speak for all of us when I say that we were all wondering how she would roll up to the red carpet, and I'm not going to lie, SHE. SERVED. This fun orange, one-shoulder dress is so adorable and compliments her figure so well! I also love how she went for a simple, fun ponytail and the tiny bag, all memes aside, is a super fun touch! It definitely gives me summer vibes!

2) SELENA GOMEZ
I don't really know how I feel about this look. I'm a huge fan of Selena and I think she looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet and while performing (no surprise) but for me, I didn't LOVE this look. I think it's flattering but the extra fabric at the end pulls away from that. I also know that neon has been a popular comeback trend this year but I'm not a huge fan of the color, which is maybe why this look wasn't my favorite. Although I think the look was well accessorized!

3) HALSEY
I am a huge fan of Halsey... But this look is terrible. I am SO sorry, but I don't even know what to say. I know a lot of people loved the makeup look that she did, but I'm not the biggest fan. I don't know if this is just me, but I was kind of missing her eyebrows! Also, the hair just confused me. I do think that the dress could have been better if she had maybe gone with some wet, wavy long hair and a simple makeup look. But because the dress is SO much already, the hair and makeup just added more to that and I did not like it.

4) CAMILA CABELLO
I love this look so much! I love the nude colors, I love the long braid and I think that this definitely well suits her aesthetic! However, I think it could have been better accessorized because as of now, although I really love this look on her, it seems kind of plain; like it's missing something. Having a diamond choker or some more prominent accessories could have really helped. I also think adding tan flowers to her braid would have been gorgeous as well.

5) SHAWN MENDES
I really like the color palette that he decided to go with. The purple and dark green look great on him! But I kind of wish there was an undershirt with this... I don't know if it's just me but I feel like it would have looked better if he were wearing something underneath the jacket.

6) BEN PLATT
I actually really love this outfit. I think it's simple but the colors stand out nicely and compliment each other well, and I think the checker detailing to Ben's pants helped the outfit. If it were just maroon pants, I feel like it would be too plain. This is a great outfit, it's extremely flattering and I really enjoyed this look!

7) TAYLOR SWIFT
I love Taylor and I think she is super talented. But I'm not sure how I feel about this look. I think the shoe kind of threw me off a bit. If there was a studded heal, I think that would better suit the look. I also think this isn't the most flattering dress for her figure, and the green color is kind of washing her out. If it were in a purple, that would have been gorgeous.

8) KESHA
Kesha? A legend. This outfit? Terrible. She's wearing a robe... There's not much else to say.
But in all seriousness, I did not like this outfit at all. Also, the Versace signature art was EVERYWHERE; on her robe, on her pant... Heel... Things? I did not like this.

9) LIL NAS X
I'm conflicted. I think Lil Nas X looked AMAZING. Especially with the statement earring? It was a great addition to the outfit! Now, again, am I the biggest fan of neon? No. It might have looked great in pink. But I do think that colors aside, the outfit was great.

10) DUA LIPA
I love Dua Lipa but this dress was not doing it for me. I think Anwar looked great; simple look. But if they were trying to coordinate, it didn't work. I was confused about the big black bow. It felt a bit random to me. I do love that she was going for a more natural, makeup look, but I don't think it suits well with the dress.
