5 DIY CHRISTMAS PRESENTS I NEON DOTS

Hey neonators, it's neon dots here. I thought I would show you guys some ideas on what you can make for your friends this holiday season. As you all know, I am obsessed with Christmas, as well as DIY's, so I thought it would be fun to do this post, so let's get started!

1) PEPPERMINT SUGAR SCRUB

•1/2 cup coconut oil
•1/4 cup sugar
•1/4 cup pink sugar - 1/4 cup sugar and 1 drop of red food coloring, mixed together
•5-6 drops peppermint essential oil

Combine white sugar and the coconut oil in a medium bowl and beat together with a hand mixer. Beat together until smooth paste forms. Beat together until it is mixed well and becomes light and fluffy. Fold in the pinks sugar. Put everything in a mason jar, add some festive ribbons, and pop on a lid on top of the jar.

2) CANDY ORNAMENT

•Clear ornament (removable lid)
•Festive lid (cut into squares)
•Pen
•Candy (I would recommend choosing the type of candy your friend likes)
•Twine
•Hole puncher

Take off the lid from your ornament and fill it in with your candy. Close the lid and set it aside. Take your squares and write your friends name. Cut a hole in the corner and pull some twine through the hole, wrapping it around the loop on the top of the ornament lid.

3) WOODEN BLOCK COASTERS

•Round wooden coasters
•Sticker stensil
•Brown paint
•Sponge brushes
•Mod Podge

Stick your sticker stensil and apply some brown paint in the open space. Once the paint has completely dried, take off the sticker and apply a thin coat of mod podge. After that dries, you can gather several coasters and wrap it in some festive ribbon.

4) MISTLE-TOES

•Festive nail polish
•Tag
•Pen
•Festive thin ribbon
•Hole puncher

Take your tag and write on "for your mistle toes" on the tag. Punch a hole on the top and wrap around some festive ribbon through the hole and around the cap of the nail polish. This is probably the most simple and easiest gift, and would be really easy to make last minute.

5) HOT COCOA ORNAMENT

•Clear ornament with removable top
•Festive ribbon
•Scissor
•Small marshmallows
•Crushed candy canes (you can put some in a bag and crush it with the palm of your hands on a flat surface)
•Cocoa powder
•Sprinkles

Remove the lid from your clear ornament and fill half of the ornament with your cocoa powder. Add a thin layer of sprinkles, crushed candy canes, which you can also get pre-crushed as well at any grocery store, and fill the rest with your marshmallows. Close the lid and wrap some ribbon around the hole on the lid. You can also curl it with your scissors, and you are done!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! If you decide to recreate any of these DIY's, make sure to use the #lookneondots on Instagram or Snapchat, or tag me in your pictures. Kisses to my neonators!
