So, you know how you always plan to lose weight, but literally right after you go on a jog around your street, you plop onto your couch with exhaustion and start eating your huge bag of Lays chips? Okay, is that just me? Because I'm pretty sure that almost everybody can relate to that. You know what you're doing but you really don't care. I started running with my friend last summer and after two or three runs, we both gave up and went to go get In & Out, so... If it's your New Years resolution to lose weight, then stay here. Let's get started!
1) GET EXCITED
If you get excited about losing weight, then you'll want to do it every single day. The reality is that you see people working out on YouTube and Pinterest, and you get excited, and it does not work out for you, or it's not as fun as you thought it would be, but if you keep on seeing inspiration, you will obviously want to do it once more. I suggest searching up inspirational images of the body that you want or fun quotes.
I love this quote, but if you like another one, then you could frame it in your room so when you wake up, you will be motivated to go on a run.
2) PLAN OUT YOUR WORKOUT
Seriously guys, this is so helpful because you know exactly what you're doing and you can literally plan out your weekly workout and/or stretches and you're just so planned and organized. And, just so you know, Pinterest has a bunch of charts that you can copy off of, or even frame, so yeah!
3) BUY SPORTS CLOTHES
I know that this may seem so dumb, but seriously guys, if you buy really cute sports clothes, you kind of have no idea but to workout because you have to wear them. And this may seem stupid again, but if you buy some sports clothes on the more expensive side (not way to expensive, but you know what I mean) then seriously, you can't bring it to waste, like you just can't.
4) MAKE HEALTHY SMOOTHIES!
I am seriously in love with this chart because it gives you so many smoothie recipes, and if you go and make a smoothie, it's healthy, and you can bring it with you while you're running or during the gym, and another great idea is switching out your drinks during the week, like you can bring water, and then a smoothie to the gym, and I think that bringing a smoothie is just as great because it's really healthy for you, especially if you know what you're putting into your smoothie.
And you could also prepare multiple bags for the week on Sunday so that you know what you're drinking and if you're still in school and you only have time to workout during the weekend, then you can still bring it to school.
5) TRY OUT MEAL PREP
If you have no idea what meal prep is, basically, on Sunday, you make meals for the rest of the week, and you know exactly what you're making for the week. It can be a bit time consuming, but somehow, for me, cooking is peaceful... So, yeah! I really recommend trying out meal prep if you've never tried it out before.
I hope you guys found these ideas helpful. If you want to show me how your workouts are going, then use the #lookneondots on Instagram. Kisses to my neonators and good luck!
