BTS WITH NEON DOTS: 5 DIY SCHOOL SUPPLIES PT. 1 I NEON DOTS
Hey guys. I know, I'm starting my back to school series way to early, but guys, I am legit so excited for school. I know that sounds crazy, but it's true. Don't lie to me, I know you are too. Anyways, I will link my previous back to school post, where I show you guys some fun school tips that you have to try, and let's get started!
1) CRISS CROSS WASHI TAPE NOTEBOOK
•Different washi tapes
•Exacto knife
•Notebook
Start making a criss cross pattern with different washi tapes, overlapping each other, and on the spine, cut the washi tape that is hanging out on the sides.
2) TUMBLR NOTEBOOKS IDEA #1
•Printed tumblr pictures/quotes (cut/print to fit the measurements of your notebook)
•Notebook
•Pencil
•Hole puncher
•Mod Podge
•Sponge brush
Take your notebooks and place them on the cover of your notebook, and make small dashes on where you should use your whole puncher. After you've made all of the small pencil marks, use your hole puncher, and then cut a small line underneath your hole, and glue on some mod podge on the back and insert the paper to fit the cover. (I really hope that makes sense!)
3) PATTERN BINDERS
•Pattern paper
•Binder
•White strip of paper (should fit the width of your printed paper)
•Glue stick
•Sharpie
These are so much easier than they look. Glue on your white strip of paper onto the patterned paper, and you can write down your subject, and slip the patterned paper inside.
4) TUMBLR NOTEBOOK IDEA #2
•Magazines/pictures
•Scissors
•Notebook
•Glue gun
Cut some triangle shapes and follow the pattern shown in the picture, or however you want, and glue them on the notebook. You want to cut some of the edges so that each triangle can fit on the front cover.
5) TUMBLR BINDER COLLAGE
•Binder
•White paper (should fit inside your binder)
•Tumblr pictures/quotes
•Scissors
•Mod Podge
•Sponge brush
Cut your tumblr pictures or quotes and glue them on the white paper, overlapping each other, and cut them so that the images doesn't go over the white paper. Coat the pictures with one more coat of mod podge and slip it into the plastic binder cover
