DIY FEBRUARY: PART 2

Hi guys. Today I decided to post the part two to February's DIY's somewhat early because I have a lot more blog ideas that I wanted to get over with, and by the time I finish my list, it will be March, so that's why this is being uploaded early. Actually, my DIY's for a couple months may have an awkward schedule because of the holidays, so just be patient until April or May please! Okay, let's get started!

1)

DIY Tic Tac Bobby Pin Case | 23 Life Hacks Every Girl Should Know | Easy Organization Ideas for Bedrooms:

•Tic Tac container
•Gold sharpie

Once you're done with your Tic Tac's, take off the wrapping and the label and everything until you're just left with the container, and then cover the lid with your sharpie and draw on polka dots on the bottom, and you can paint it as well, but using a sharpie saves more time, and it's easier, and you don't have to wait for it to dry, and then put in your bobby pins!

2)

Use a ball jar wrapped with fringed burlap and tied with a ribbon. For 4th of July or Memorial Day, use a patriotic ribbon!:

(This is really easy, and somewhat plain compared to the regular DIY's I show you guys, but it was too cute not to show you, and it makes a great accessory for your table for spring, which is coming up!)

•Mason jar
•Flowers
•Water
•Burlap
•White and red plaid print ribbon
•Glue gun
•Scissors

Pour your mason jar 75% with water and put in your flowers, and on the mason jar, cover the center with burlap, and glue the ends together after cutting that off with your scissors, and cut a long piece of the white and red ribbon, and make it as long as you can, and tie a bow on it, and cut the ends with the access ribbon, and you have this adorable table accessory!

3)

DIY Tumblr Inspired School Supplies:

(I did a notebook idea for my last DIY post, but this one was way to cute to pass up!)

•Tumblr images of all different sizes
•Mod Podge
•Sponge brush
•Journal

Print out some tumblr images of all different sizes, and as many as you can so that you can overlap them, which I personally think makes it super cute, and take your journal, and lay out your images first (obviously you have to cut them out first), and then you can use Mod Podge to glue it down, and let everything dry for around half an hour to one hour, and after everything's dry, wait another hour just to be sure, and then coat all of your pictures with another layer of Mod Podge and let that dry for an hour or overnight, and bam, you have your own tumblr inspired notebook for school!

4)

agulcin.tumblr.com: Natural Care...:

•Salt
•Sugar
•Olive oil
•Vaseline
•Lip balm
•Empty container
•Small bowl
•Fork

Put the olive oil, vaseline, and lip balm in a small bowl and stir until you get an even mixture. Now, little by little, add the salt and sugar, and you're done! These make great gifts for friends and it's homemade, so it's absolutely great!

5)

Get inspired with easy, creative DIY ideas at Darby Smart.:

(Ignore the title...)

•Mod Podge
•Sponge brush
•Tape
•Pink or gold glitter
•Key

Take your key and lay it out on a sheet of paper so you have a surface of some sort, and put a piece of tape under the round top part of your key, if that makes sense (or just put the tape on the top of the long part), and on the round, top part, put on some Mod Podge, and pour on your glitter, and let that dry, and now, you can tell which key is which, and this is actually a good life hack and it's super easy to make, and after everything's dry, take off your tape and tap down your key so the access glitter get's off.

I hope you guys enjoyed this, and if you try any of these ideas, again, you know the drill, just use the #lookneondots on Instagram so that I can make sure to check out your amazing recreations. I love you all so much, and have a great day! Kisses to my neonators!

XOXO,

Neon Dots
