ORGANIZING TIPS AND TRICKS - ATHOMEWITHNIKKI

Hi guys! Before we start, this is not a collaboration, however, I wanted to give a big big BIG shoutout to AtHomeWithNikki from YouTube, or you may know her from her blog as well. I will link her channel and blog at the end of this post as well, but basically, she is great at being organized. Basically, you could call her the queen of organization, it's truly inspirational, and instead of just doing a short post talking about her and to check her out, I wanted to share with you guys some of her ideas that she has shared out to the world on YouTube, and again, on her blog as well.

I only want to share these with you guys because I personally find them extremely useful to know, and I thought you guys would like to hear some of her ideas now, and then, if you are interested later, you can definitely check her out, but first, you guys should know what type of videos she makes. She makes organizing videos, what she eats every week (in those videos, she sometimes includes how to make certain recipes, and she only eats healthy), some sit down videos, and so much more. She is so nice and extremely gorgeous and just so inspirational.

This is Nikki's fridge. Now, as you can see here, it is obviously extremely organized and let me tell you what she did.

Basically, as you can see, instead of keeping the egg cartons the eggs come in, she bought a nice egg holder with a clear lid so that you can see how many eggs you have and what not, and what's ironic is before I found her on YouTube, I bought one myself at TJ Maxx in the home section, so if you have a store somewhere around where you live that may sell this product, then you should definitely try and hunt one down.

Another thing she did here is use mason jars to store salads, and ingredients for smoothies. This is a great idea to use in your kitchen because if you are in a rush or you need to go to work, and you don't have time to pack a lunch, but you still need to eat something, preferably healthy, you can stuff some ingredients into a mason jar and throw it into your lunch bag and you're good to go. Another good idea is to store fruits into mason jars and give them to kids, or just for yourself, and this is great because they are 100% washable/reusable so you never have to throw them away.

Also, for any meals that she preps the night before, or leftovers, go into one bin, and she labels most things in her kitchen.

Another thing Nikki does is she uses glass containers for water, milk, orange juice, and what not.

Nikki keeps her spices in one place, and uses the Rajtan Ikea Spice Jars and she labels everything with a clear label and black font so that when she's searching for something, she can quickly scan for what she needs, and it's close to her stove so that it's at reach. I found a link for you guys for a four jar set for around $3 on the Ikea store, which is a great price!

These are only some of Nikki's home organization videos/posts, and again, I am only trying to share her ideas with you guys before giving you guys the link to her blog and channel because I want you guys to get the key idea of what she shares with the world, just so that you guys can determine if you guys want to check her out or not.

I really recommend you do because she is, again, great, nice, and extremely wonderful, and watching her videos is actually really soothing, if that makes sense, but basically, she's a great person that you guys should check out, and hopefully I can reach out to her one day and we can do a collab on our blogs about organization. I will try my best to make that happen because I would love for you guys to learn more about her and what she does.

Thanks so much for reading this post today, and if you guys want to check her out, again, all of the links will be at the end of this post. If you try any of these ideas, make sure to use the #lookneondots and let me know how you like her ideas, and how you may have transformed some of her ideas into your own. Kisses to my neonators!

XOXO,

Neon Dots
