DIY CHRISTMAS ROOM DECOR PART 1

Guys, it's not December yet, but hey, I can't help it! I love Christmas and the room decor, but unfortunately, it can be quite pricy because of how many people want decor for their rooms for the holiday, so I wanted to show you guys some really easy and cute DIY's that you can try out for your room this year, and there will be a part 2 coming up soon, so wait for that in the future, so let's just get right into it.

1. PEPPERMINT TREE

peppermint tree on a candlestick (I would glue some red glitter underneath for some extra sparkle!):

•Cone shaped styrofoam
•Glue gun
•Peppermints
•Footed candlestick

This is so cute and so easy to make, it only takes five minutes once you have everything together. First off, glue the peppermints onto the styrofoam, and once everything's all on the cone shaped styrofoam, glue the bottom onto the footed candlestick.

2. GLITTER BRANCH DECOR PIECE

Smart Health Talk Pick: Low cost way to make something that can add something special to a room. Use a small branch, hang on wall and add other decorations to hang on it such as garland or small bulbs.:

•Fake/real branch
•Glitter
•Modge podge
•Glitter ribbon
•Ornaments
(Make sure that the glitter, ribbon, and ornaments are in the same color)

First, do section by section and cover the branch with modge podge, covering it in glitter, and tapping it onto a flat surface so that the access glitter will fall off. You want to do it section by section because modge podge dries fast. After everything's done, slip a ribbon on the top of the ornament, and tie it onto the branch!

3. MINI PINE CONE PLANT

Pine Cone Christmas Tree - 17 Budget-Friendly DIY Christmas Decorations:

•Pine cone
•Green paint
•White paint
•Mini flower pot
•Sparkling star
•Duct tape (No special kind)

All you have to do is paint the pine cone green, and once that dries, paint the tips white so that it looks like snow, and then once that dries, glue the star onto the top point of the pine cone, and stick it in the flower pot.

4. DEER HEAD KATE SPADE INSPIRED ART PIECE

11 DIY Christmas Teen Crafts | A Little Craft In Your Day:

•Canvas
•Deer head template
•Modge Podge
•Sponge brush
•Painters tape
•Black paint
•Glitter

Once you've printed out the template, cut that out and put on a coat of modge podge and tap glitter all over it until that dries. Then, while thats drying, put some tape, and make spaces so that you can paint over those, and paint the empty spots black, let that dry, and once it's all done, paint modge podge onto the back of the paper deer head, and put that in the center of the canvas.

5. NEWSPAPER ORNAMENTS

Would love to do this with Rocky Top sheet music/lyrics and hang a power T instead of the Noel tag.:

•Ornaments
•Newspaper articles
•Modge Podge
•Sponge brush
•Scissors
•Glitter
•Twine

All you have to do is cut out small pieces of newspaper and modge podge them onto the ornament, let that dry, and then put another coat over that. Then, take a very small amount of glitter and sprinkle it all over, not too much in one area. Then once that's done, take a piece of twine and slip it through the top and tie the ends so that you can hang it on a tree.
