THANKSGIVING DIY!

Guys, I don't think that the only day that you should give thanks is on Thanksgiving. I think it should be all month long, in fact, all year long, because if you give thanks, others will to you. I am so thankful for you guys and everything that you've done for me, from reading my blog posts, to just supporting me day by day, and whenever I see that you guys comment or view my posts, it just puts  a smile to my face, and I hope I make you smile as well! Let's just get right into it before I get emo!! ;(

1. PLACE CARDS!

Use these easy to make place cards to dress up the table for Thanksgiving:

•Burlap
•Template of fall leaf
•Burgundy paint
•Sponge brush
•White sharpie
•Clothespin
•Modge Podge
•Gold glitter
•Thick paper

Cut out a square piece of burlap, and cut out how many pieces that you will need, and then, print out a template of a fall leaf if you need it, and paint that burgundy, and leave those to dry, and once those are drying, put on Modge Podge onto the clothespins and put on some glue over that, and after the glitter dries, tap of the access glitter, and coat another coat of Modge Podge, and let that dry. Once everything is ready, pin the leaf onto the burlap, and write with the white sharpie each persons name onto the leaf.

2. COLORFUL CANDLE CENTERPIECES

Fall Candle Centerpiece. Whip it up in a matter of minutes! #fallcenterpieces #leaves #candles:

•Candle of your choice
•Fake fall leaf
•Twine

This is pretty self explanatory, but all you have to do is lay the candle on a flat surface, and then put on the leaf in any arrangement that you want them to be, and then to secure that, wrap twine around the candle, and it is super simple but makes the cutest DIY! And if you want to recreate the back candle, you can use the extra burlap from the last DIY and glue that onto the candle.

3. STICK FLOWER POT CENTERPIECE

Using branches from your backyard, attach them to an empty coffee can with hot glue, then fill with flowers.:

•Different sized sticks
•Burlap (Again, you can use extra from the previous two DIY's)
•Glue gun
•Flat flower pot
•Fake and/or real orange/yellow flowers

First off, glue the back of the sticks onto the pot, and if you want to make it easier, you can cut off the back so that it's smooth and easier to glue, but that is totally optional, and then take a long piece of burlap and tie it around the pot, and stick in the flowers, and it is so cute and vintage looking!

4. LEAF "GRATEFUL" SIGN

Community: 16 Awesome DIY Projects You Can Make With Fall Foliage:

•Leaves
•White sharpie
•Twine
•Glue gun

You can take leaves from outside, and then on each leaf, you can write down any message that you want with the white sharpie, and then lay out the leaves about an inch away from each other, and you want two/three inches of twine left on the ends, so lay the twine above the leaves, and glue the stem of the leaf onto the twine, or you can tie them as well.

5. DAILY TRACK OF GRATEFUL THOUGHTS

•Vintage frame
•Paper (the print on it is optional)
•Scissors
•Modge Podge
•Sponge brush

All you have to do is measure and cut out the paper to match the back of the frame so that it will fit onto it perfectly, do a coat of modge podge onto the back of the frame and lay the paper on quickly because modge podge dries a little fast, and then do another coat, which is optional, to make sure that all the edges are secure, and don't worry, it dries clear, and then you can write it out with an expo marker, 'Today, I am thankful for...' or you can print it out on a clear label maker, and stick that on, or whatever you want to do, and then put it all together and since the glass is clear, you can write it with a black expo marker.

Hope you guys enjoyed these DIY's, and if you want to show me any of your recreations on Instagram, use the #diyneondots and I will make sure to like that! Kisses to my neonators!

XOXO,

Neon Dots
